SUHAIL KHADRA, M.D. ,
F.A.C.C.
Dr. Khadra is the Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cook County Hospital
and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. He
is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and
interventional cardiology.
Dr. Khadra graduated from Damascus University Medical School. He did
his internal medicine residency and a year as chief medical resident at Cook
County Hospital. Then, he completed his cardiovascular fellowship at the
same institution.
His main clinical interests are management of CAD, acute coronary syndrome and
coronary interventional procedures as well as permanent pacemaker implantation.
Dr. Khadra was the Principal Site Investigator for multiple INH sponsored
trials including the HOPE Trial and the PEACE Trial.
Currently, he is involved in multiple national and international quality
assurance registries for management of acute coronary syndrome including the
CRUSADE Registry and the GRACE registry.
Dr. Khadra is a fellow of the American College of
Cardiology, a member of the Chicago Medical Society, the Illinois Medical Society and
the American Medical Association.
